Wireless Patient Tracking System using iPhones

Harvard Operational Medicine Institute deploys a wireless patient tracking system to allow efficient gathering of patient information in the field.

Dr. Elizabeth Cote, from Harvard Humane Initiative collects patient data at Fond Parisien, Haiti using an iPhone and an enhanced and customized version of iPhone app iCharts from CareTools. The team worked closely with the developers to customize the data fields and entry form in less than a week to support fields and info required to comply with international disaster data collection standards.
